Disturbed congressman

Idaho’s Rep. Bill Sali is disturbed. But will he seek treatment?

Better, might he read the Constitution if we give him the link?

  1. The comments on that story at the other site disturb me more than the story. Where do they come up with this stuff?

  2. Oops! IDAHO, not Utah. (Jim, write “Idaho is not Utah and vice versa’ on the blackboard 500 times.)

  3. Sali is one of the bigger crackpots in Congress, and has even managed to get most Republicans annoyed at him. When he was in the State Legislature, the then-Speaker threatened to throw him out of his office window, and some of his ‘colleagues’ protested — because the Speaker’s office was only on the third floor, and there were offices available on the fourth. (Ironically, that Speaker is now the Representative for Utah’s other Congressional District.)

When he won the Primary, it gave some Democrats hope we’d even pick up a Utah seat — but sadly it was not to be.
