New theme

My Freudian Slip is showing (ask Dr. Buff what that means, if you’re curious).

I was checking out theme previews, working to find a theme that gives easy links to other posts while reading one post’s full text. I accidentally hit “activate.”

Opinions? Does this new theme (Ocean Mist, by the way) improve readability and navigation of the blog? Does this theme eliminate the bleeding to the left problem old versions of Internet Explorer had?

Let me know.

THOSE colors. I was sweating the pale blue . . .

I plant to bring back the full color portrait at some point, Pam. Just foolin’ around with the other stuff. Color clash or no.

Oooh, colors fit now. But maybe you should explain what he is doing now.

I look for subpage navigation. Only two or three themes support it… And one of these days I will take advantage of having it.

Unfortunately, the color scheme is terrible.

Drop a note by Lorelle (maybe here, http://lorelle.wordpress.com/2007/05/05/lets-hear-from-the-disabled/ ) about the need for better readability in themes. (BritGirl is another who has argued for such over fluff. That makes 4 voices and soon we’ll have a quintet.)

I’ve been using K2 at Grassroots Science and Freshy at my other web log to enhance readbility and navigation. I’ve not liked the Cutline versions (too big).

It’s much easier to read, actually. Usually, I’d have to blow up the text a bit to read it.
