June 29, 1895: T.H. Huxley Dies

Thomas Henry Huxley, a British biologist and firm believer in evolution, dies at age 70. The greatest defender of Darwinism in Britain, he once said,

“The deepest sin against the human mind is to believe things without evidence.”

    Gotta love Huxley. He had another quote that I’m personally pretty fond of: “You should learn everything about something, and something about everything.” Words to live by. :)
