New word invented


I’m staking my claim here: I’ve invented a new word. You can see the usage here, at Reclaiming Space.

“BelloBellicoscenti.”

OED? I’m ready for my closeup.

    “Bellicosinati” has some great possibilities for humorous bastardization. How long should one wait before one bastardizes a newly coined word, eh? Depends upon which one of the Internet(s)(tm) you’re on I suppose. I’d like to register Bellicosinazis just for the record. Of course it’s a me too derivative coinage, but that is the story of my life. My whole life is a me too.

    :D And a great word it is too. I am priveleged to have been there at its lexicographical inception. Are you sure you don’t want the spelling to be bellicoscenti, though? Bellocoscenti could refer to a coterie of handsome men :)
