I have given a Fillmore Day party for the last 5 years. Attendance is limited to 30 due to space. The invitation is sought after and non RSVPing to the invitation is grounds for banishment. I enclose a copy of the invitation for your edification.
Mediocrity has many faces.
We gather in good fellowship to celebrate mediocrity in the person of our 13th president, the Honorable Millard Fillmore, born on January 7 1800. Millard, outstanding in his mediocrity serves as a model for the semi competent everywhere. Called “His Accidentcy” by opponents for becoming president after the death of Zachary Taylor, Millard secure in his mediocrity, made sure he did nothing to commit himself to solving the country’s problems.
Huzzah to the true mediocritite Fillmore.
Are you secure enough to say “I am mediocre and I’ll be there”? Or will you just say “I am not mediocre enough. I shall not be there.
Join the lovely Miss Rhea and myself, the “Future Child Star of Royersford”
on January 9, 2010 at 7:00 P.M. at Fillmore Celebration World Headquarters
2305 Foxmeadow Circle, Royersford Pa. 19468
Please R.S.V.P at 215 518 8942 or brian.buckman9@gmail.com
As with all Fillmore extravaganzas
BRING NO FOOD. A bottle of wine, a nice flat screen LCD with TIVO, or money would all be acceptable.
Miss Rhea’s World Famous Gumbo will be served along with a feast fit for royalty and complementary mints.
AS WITH ALL FILLMORE FESTIVITIES, IF YOU RSVP AND CAN’T COME ON THE DAY OF THE GALA, DON’T CALL! We are working hard and don’t have time to give you absolution.
For your edification and enjoyment we enclose a lovely collector’s magnet to put on your refrigerator or forehead to jog your memory.
Directions
Go west on the Expressway to King of Prussia. Follow the signs to 422. Take 422 west for 12 miles to the Royersford exit. Go left at the ramp to 10th Ave. (about a block or less) Go right on 10th Ave to the light at Lewis Road (at the CVS). Make a right on to Lewis Road and go about a quarter mile to Country Club Road and make a right. Go to the sign that says Montgomery Brook. Make a quick right; you are looking at the end of my building then quick left and a right. You are on the 2300 court. Park at the end of the court (weather permitting) so you don’t force my neighbors to come at me with pitch forks and torches. Then walk down to 2305. Or use your GPS or Map Quest.

We've been soaking in the Bathtub for several months, long enough that some of the links we've used have gone to the Great Internet in the Sky.
