SBOE isn’t exactly asking that the Bible be rewritten — or at least, not directly. Suggesting we replace Thomas Jefferson as a founder with John Calvin in high school standards, is just as silly.
Hattip, you don’t know the requirements to be guilty of libel do you?
And as for you saying “This goes beyond your usual straw-men fallacies and personal attacks; this is outright agiprop. Stop lying.” I’m surprised your head didn’t explode the second you typed that considering the sheer irony of you being the one to say that.
Great satire–and honestly, no more stupid than what the TBOE is really promoting. Of course I had low expectations when they appointed a preacher whose hobby is rewriting American history and a children’s book author to the panel in charge of the standards, but really–eliminating the Enlightenment altogether from World History? This makes sense to them? Reality clearly has no bearing on their decisions. And what are the kids subjected to this miseducation going to do when it comes time to go to college? Sue to be admitted anyway, like those California home-schooled kids? I’m looking into the abyss, and I can’t believe what’s looking back at me.
hattip, are you suggesting that the author of this blog is representing the satirical cartoon as something that has been issued by the BOV? However, he (1) labels it as a cartoon, (2) identifies the author, and (3) provides a link to the original. (My apologies if you were being a Poe and I missed the irony.)

My blog, Millard Fillmore's Bathtub, is a continuing experiment to test how to use blogs to improve and speed up learning processes for students, perhaps by making some of the courses actually interesting. It is a blog for teachers, to see if we can use blogs. It is for people interested in social studies and social studies education, to see if we can learn to get it right. It's a blog for science fans, to promote good science and good science policy. It's a blog for people interested in good government and how to achieve it.

How does it differ from what SBOE did?
How is a cartoon of public officials “libel?”
Hattip, back away from the espresso machine. Get some sleep. Stay off of caffeine for a while, and the world will start to look much better to you.

Good Heaven’s this is just outright libel. That is propaganda, not issued by the the Board of education. Have you lost all ability tor reason?

You shame yourself. You would know this if you were capable of shame.
Are you capable of adult behavior?
