    Hattip, define socialism.

Surely if you want us to take you seriously you can define it right?

    @hattip:
Reaganomics, er, “led to one of the greatest post war booms”…

in what? Defense spending, national debts and budget deficits? AMT liabilities? Sure as hell wasn’t job growth, wages, or productivity growth. (And the recession was over by his 4th year in office so don’t give me that blame it on Carter line).

You’re confusing responsible, effective capitalism with irresponsible, gluttonous economic thievery.

Perhaps if you spent more time trying to understand policy and less time crafting pointed attacks on dead philosophies (eg. Marxism) and nonexistent “agendas” you’d sound less like a paranoid ass and more like someone who ought to be listened to. As it stands, you’re bark is a whimper, your bite a wet smooch.

Not as funny as “there is an astigmatism attached to being 40”, but still pretty good. Extra points for all the various flavours of nut that surround it.

Okay, just to check my Poedar, the post above filled with malapropisms, misspellings, grammar mistakes, and really bizarre chains of thought IS Poe. Correct? Or does my filter produce too many false positives?

    Whoever wrote:

Really? It damn near bankrupted the country, led to massive debt and the only ones who gained anything were the already rich. If Reagannomics led to a “great post war boom” then how exactly did George H Bush lose the White House in the middle of what was a recession?

Which explains why George W. Bush’s term was only four years, when Clinton’s campaign mantra was “It’s the economy, stupid!”

Full disclosure: I was a Schedule C appointee by President Reagan, and held other posts in Washington during his administration.

Again, More straw men and ad hominem attacks.
Nothing but logical fallacies and agitprop.

Typical Leftist. Is this really all you are capable of? These are literally all that come out of your mouth. You seem incapable of civilized comportment and discourse.

Do you have a valid point? Please make it.

Reaganomics (a term, btw, created by the media, not RR and CO.) was a rousing success. Stop putting out this revisionist bilge. Reality is not what you say it is. It is larger than you, There is objective truth, a notion that seems to elude you, much as common sense and civilized argumentation eludes you.

So called “Reaganomics” led to one of the greatest post war booms.

It is just commonsensical: Capitalism works better than communism. Much better. People have a right to what they earn. The government does not give them an allowance.

That is really your problem: It WORKED and you can not forebear it because it sets fire to your communist lies. Thus all the attempts at propaganda, revisionism, slander and libel. Thus all the lies. Shame on you. Your position cannot withstand rational argument.

(that and RR reminds liberals of their fathers, at least those who had responsible fathers.)

Stop trying to paint the notion of people getting to keep what they earn as some how pandering to “fat cats”. A whole broad swath of people, particularly in technology, made their fortunes in part du to what you call Reaganomics. A great menay of them were Democrats. It was one of the largest expansions of wealth into the middle class in history.

While your parasitic and Marxist agenda is morally putrid in and of itself, as all thievery and deception is, just as a practical matter, how are you going to fund it without productive capitalist and entrepreneurs.

Try getting on grip on the reality of things (and recent history) before you go out and reflexively vomit left wing talking points

This will make for more honorable positions on your part.
