Eliane Velozo, fotógrafa e multiartista, filha do veterano da Força Expedicionária Brasileira-FEB, Gastão Veloso de Melo, encontra-se na Europa, onde desenvolve projeto artístico relacionado à campanha do Brasil na II Guerra Mundial. Através dos mapas da memória viva de seu pai volta aos locais onde ele esteve. Amplia suas trilhas, provocada pelas ações nazi-fascista contra judeus, ciganos, homossexuais e povos de todos os rincões do mundo.
Na Itália, redescobrindo a jornada do seu pai, a artista ressalta: aqui existem vários monumentos em homenagem aos brasileiros que lutaram pela libertação do país.
