I always liked President Ford. He came up with the idea of the Earned Income Tax Credit that Ronnie Raygun claimed as his own. Ford’s greatest, and most unrecognized contribution, was as an ex-President. He repeatedly warned his own party about its dangerous slouch toward extremism and theocracy. Would that they had listened!
