I’ve been sorely disappointed at the festering swelling of people on social media in the past year who claim counter to history, science and common sense that DDT causes polio. As you might imagine, I’ve posted dozens of responses to these mislead goats.
The claim that DDT (dichloro-diphenyl-trichloroethane), a pesticide, causes polio is a hoax. I asked Bing Chat with GPT-4, “How would I disprove the hoax claim that DDT causes polio?” Here is the response, which is really very good:
- Polio is caused by the poliovirus, not DDT: Polio is an infectious disease caused by the poliovirus1. It can be spread person to person through contaminated water and sometimes through respiratory droplets2.
- Polio predates DDT: Polio has existed since prehistoric times, while DDT was first synthesized in 18743.
- DDT was used to combat polio, but failed: Some communities used DDT to try to combat polio in the 1940s, but these efforts failed3.
- Polio was eradicated by vaccines, not the discontinuation of DDT: The polio vaccine, introduced in 1955, is credited with eliminating the disease in the United States23. The number of U.S. cases dropped to fewer than 10 in the 1970s, and polio was declared eliminated in the U.S. in 19792.
- DDT is not linked to polio or paralysis: According to a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention fact sheet, DDT is not linked to polio, let alone paralysis4.
These points, backed by scientific evidence and expert opinion, clearly disprove the claim that DDT causes polio. The eradication of polio is attributed to the widespread administration of the polio vaccine23.
Of course, I’ve tried all of those responses, and the true-brown “DDT causes polio crowd” won’t accept those arguments no matter who gives them.
Will more rational people accept it?

But I consider most of it to be unreliable. Not because of that author but due to the unreliable character of virology.
You are commenting about Jim Wests diagrams but I was referring to his opinion about demanding sound proof for virus isolation. The proofs cited in virology are worse than ridiculous since the way medical science has operated it has caused a lot of needless suffering.
Virology was kidnapped by Rockefeller and they made money (and provided careers for a new priesthood willing to play along)
Further I was also thinking about Jims demand for checking the toxicological aspect. Scientists did that in the 19th century and found that the paralysis associated with polio was caused by toxins and it still is.
Jonas Salk’s understanding led him to disregard that toxins werent filtered out in his purported purification and so the toxins were carried from stool samples of polio-victims to cause new victims and when you claim they saved many lifes that is just hearsay. They make things up. They lie to you. You may be in good faith but virology is in deep trouble
Ice cream was based on dairy containing DDT.
Since toxicology still isnt properly considered there is no surprise that they were careless back then.

His charts are wrong. Mostly bogus. That’s not science, and it’s not journalism. It’s hoax.

So you were talking about the Cutter incident, and not the vaccine as designed and promulgated.
1955 was the worst-ever epidemic year for polio, and Boston was hit harder. The epidemic was cut off at the knees by Salk vaccine. Your comparison of 1955 to 1954 is inaccurate for that reason — 1954 was a lull year.
Cutter incident was not the fault of the vaccine, and not the fault of Jonas Salk. FDA and Salk fixed the problem. Tens of thousands of injuries were saved that year, and thousands of deaths were prevented.
You’ve got the papers that say SV40 causes cancer in humans? Can you share it?

CDC is seriously compromised like large parts of the establishment since everything is about profits and not at all about health so referring to the CDC to prove DDT doesnt cause paralysis isnt a satisfactory argument
Yesterday I intended to add something about the redefinition of polio used to hide the unfortunate consequences of Salks vaccine but I would rely on Janine Roberts comprehensive analysis, proof read for scientific accuracy by an eminent professor of pathology and I prefer to direct those interested directly to that source

Tomorrow januari 17 2024 there is to be a meeting at Davos where they will discuss a new pandemic 20 times worse than the last one and it is to be caused by a bioweapon. The wellinformed Voltairenet has briefed us about it.
I would express it as the Davos crowd in full symbiosis with the AA empire, having thrown the mask completely.
They are a genocidal bunch.
And I have no doubt about what they are capable of. Actually I suspected that the last deliberately caused calamity called covid 19 would turn out to be more deadly. I expected that they had prepared the antidote and intended to sell it.
So I wasnt sure I would survive when I avoided to be vaccinated and had to struggle against family to escape it but I didnt advice anybody about what to do.
I dont know if they had an antidote but they may well have it now since they hint about it being much worse.
And they probably dont want to put themselves at risk.

About live viruses in Salk vaccines:
On 8 May 1955 the Surgeon General suspended the entire US production of the vaccine. After hurried meetings between Salk, manufacturers and the surgeon general, distribution of the vaccine was resumed five days later, with new regulations in place to ensure better standards in the vaccine laboratories. The general consensus was that these cases had been caused by viruses in the vaccine that had survived the formaldehyde, despite evidence that repeated injections can cause paralysis.
However, despite these new regulations, four months later more than 2,000 cases of infantile paralysis were recorded in Boston, despite the vaccination of 130,000 children in the city. The previous year it had seen only 273 cases. The number of cases doubled in vaccinated New York State and Connecticut, and tripled in Vermont. They increased by five times in both Rhode Island and Wisconsin. Many were paralysed in the injected arm.
This had nothing to do with SV40 which had been shown to cause cancer by Bernice Eddy, but not paralysis, right?

Look I realise that medical science is in deep trouble and that there are tons of prestige standing in the way for any improvement.
So I am pessimistic about the future of science. Fiat medicine like fiat money.

Oy, where to begin.
1. Salk did NOT say the Salk vaccine accidentally contains live viruses and cause polio. Are you referring to the Cutter incident? Manufacturing error, quickly discovered and quickly remedied. While we all regret the damage the bad vaccine caused, even the bad vaccine prevented polio.
Salk may have talked about vaccine-derived polio from the oral vaccine invented by Albert Sabin. But that’s not what you said.
2. Salk didn’t make vaccine from monkeys. It was made from human polio viruses. One phase required reproducing viruses in a culture that came from monkey kidneys. It is hypothesized that the virus SV40 contaminated some vaccine. SV40 affects only monkeys, not humans. There is no known injury from SV40 in vaccines, yet. We hope it stays that way.
3. Toxins causing polio doesn’t fit because the toxins proposed, especially DDT, had no opportunity to be exposed to the majority of polio cases. Kids in cities got less DDT than farm kids or farm workers who worked with and around DDT used as pesticides. Kids in cities got polio, farmworkers didn’t. People who worked in plants manufacturing DDT did not get polio. From 1945-1952, DDT was used extensively in indoor-residual spraying, to fight malaria in the Tennessee River Valley. Kids in those homes didn’t get polio. Kids in big cities got polio.
The hypothesis that people exposed to DDT got polio is falsified every way it’s checked. For studying polio, facts are that polio victims rarely got exposed to DDT or any other toxin anyone ever proposed as a cause of polio.
4. Then there is the issue of symptoms. Toxins suggested, including DDT, do not produce polio-like symptoms in trace amounts, nor in the heavier amounts required for toxin poisoning.
5. Jim West’s charts are bogus. He has DDT peaking in 1952 or 1954 depending on the chart; DDT peaked in 1959. West has DDT fading to almost nothing by 1956; DDT was heavy until 1972. Polio, on the other hand, crashed when Salk polio vaccine was introduced in 1955, fell to almost nothing, and faded away from there. The DDT correlation is this: More DDT, less or no polio.
6. Polio was not “redefined” in the 1950s. Especially note that other paralyzing diseases did not have a huge increase when polio crashed. Polio vaccine actually eradicated polio. I’ve heard some argue that maybe the vaccine also took out other diseases, but that’s ridiculous. You mention meningitis — where was the increase in meningitis when polio crashed? There wasn’t one.
7. “Economic considerations?” What in the world is that? What economic considerations would lead to a mass delusion that polio went away without vaccines?
8. Malaria? No nation that still uses DDT has polio. The two nations that still have polio, Afghanistan and Pakistan, do not use DDT.

Later info from Jonas Salk stated that his vaccine accidentally contained live viruses and that this inadvertently caused a tragic increase in polio. However Salk made the vaccine from monkeys who had the symptoms so whatever caused their polio could have contaminated the vaccine. Salk belived in the viral theory. But the theory that toxins cause it also fits since the toxins would be transferred.
Jim West has shown how the production of the pesticides BHC DDT and Lead arsenate correlate with the sickness in the 1950s.
And since polio was redefined in the 1950s the new cases were bookkept under different headings like meningitis
Economic considerations have blocked the truth.
There is also the malaria problem.
In several countries where there still is polio they use DDT against mosquitos

Does that help? My brother caught polio in 1936, three years before DDT was discovered to have pesticidal qualities, four years before any DDT was produced, nine years before DDT was introduced to the U.S.
Usual response is, ‘He could have caught it from arsenic or lead.’
Most polio victims I’ve asked about this precise issue express surprise anyone would be so foolish and mean as to suggest they got their disease from bug spray.
Anti-vaxxers are not predisposed to accept or even acknowledge evidence contrary to their faith and dogma. Anti-vaxxers are the chief perpetrators of this hoax these days.
