“No updates in several months — the only thing I can conclude is that the blog, Adam Smith Lives!, is dead.”
Thank God! Not that I have anything against Adam Smith. He is just misused and abused by certain quarters who should know better and probably do. But I certainly wouldn’t read a knucklehead from GMU about him, regardless of the bold faced initials after her name.
Anyone wealthy enough can buy a university and that’s precisely what happened with GMU.
There really bare some great blogs out here. I liked yours when I stumbled across it a year or so ago but there are so many good blogs and so little tie.

We've been soaking in the Bathtub for several months, long enough that some of the links we've used have gone to the Great Internet in the Sky.
If you find a dead link, please leave a comment to that post, and tell us what link has expired.
Thanks!

My blog, Millard Fillmore's Bathtub, is a continuing experiment to test how to use blogs to improve and speed up learning processes for students, perhaps by making some of the courses actually interesting. It is a blog for teachers, to see if we can use blogs. It is for people interested in social studies and social studies education, to see if we can learn to get it right. It's a blog for science fans, to promote good science and good science policy. It's a blog for people interested in good government and how to achieve it.

Masochist, I’m guessing. Still, he’s a voice others listen to.
I’m not sure why my own post didn’t make it, but originally I had said:
I gather you would agree with that last thought, WKG?

“Ack! You have an economics blogroll and it’s missing Greg Mankiw.”
This Greg Mankiw?
“At this point in the presidential campaign, Senator John McCain is the candidate of ideas on issues of tax policy.”
The same Greg Mankiw who was was the chairman of President Bush’s Council of Economic Advisors from 2003 to 2005?
Are you a masochist or just being sarcastic?

Certainly, I think there is a presumption to pay attention to anyone who splits time between Edinburgh and Bordeaux! Nice work if you can get it.
Thanks for the tip, Gavin.
